Before The Squall Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB ACAC DEDE

The wind is rising on the seaA
The windy white foam dancers leapB
And the sea moans uneasilyA
And turns to sleep and cannot sleepB
-
Ridge after rocky ridge upliftsA
Wild hands and hammers at the landC
Scatters in liquid dust and driftsA
To death among the dusty sandC
-
On the horizon's nearing lineD
Where the sky rests a visible wallE
Grey in the offing I divineD
The sails that fly before the squallE
