At Dieppe Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCA DEED AFFA

The grey green stretch of sandy grassA
Indefinitely desolateB
A sea of lead a sky of slateC
Already autumn in the air alasA
-
One stark monotony of stoneD
The long hotel acutely whiteE
Against the after sunset lightE
Withers grey green and takes the grass's toneD
-
Listless and endless it outliesA
And means to you and me no moreF
Than any pebble on the shoreF
Or this indifferent moment as it diesA
