Climb claim your shelf room farA
Packed from inquisitive moonB
And cold contagious starsC
-
Lean out but look no longerD
No further than to stirD
Night with extended fingerD
-
Now fill the box with lightE
Flood full the shining blockF
Masonry against nightE
-
Let window curtain blindG
Soft sieve and sift and shredH
The impertinence of soundI
-
Now draw the silence upJ
A blanket round your earsK
Lay darkness close and sureL
Inverted cup to cupJ
On your acquiescent eyesM
Dismissing body's last outposted spiesM
