Discovery Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFDGHIJKDLMDNOP Q

When you are slightly drunkA
Things are so close so friendlyB
The road asks to be walked uponC
The road rewards you for walkingD
With firm upward contact answering your downward contactE
Like the pressure of a hand in yoursF
You think this studious balancingD
Of right leg while left leg advances of left while rightG
How splendidH
Like somebody or other on a peak in DarienI
How cleverly that seat shapes the body of the girl who sits thereJ
How well how skilfully that man there walks towards youK
Arms hanging swinging waitingD
You move the muscles of your cheeksL
How cunningly a smile respondsM
And now you are actually speakingD
Round sounding wordsN
MagnificentO
As that lady's hatP
