Where Lies The Land To Which The Ship Would Go Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCAA DDEE AABB

Where lies the land to which the ship would goA
Far far ahead is all her seamen knowA
And where the land she travels from AwayB
Far far behind is all that they can sayB
-
On sunny noons upon the deck's smooth faceC
Linked arm in arm how pleasant here to paceC
Or o'er the stern reclining watch belowA
The foaming wake far widening as we goA
-
On stormy nights when wild north westers raveD
How proud a thing to fight with wind and waveD
The dripping sailor on the reeling mastE
Exults to bear and scorns to wish it pastE
-
Where lies the land to which the ship would goA
Far far ahead is all her seamen knowA
And where the land she travels from AwayB
Far far behind is all that they can sayB

Hilary Bradford: What a wonderful poem. We sang it as a 3 part song in our school choir many moons ago. Can anyone give details of the song, probably published as sheet music.
