Dear memories upon either side | G |

There happy fancies day by day | H |
New courses sedulously lay | H |
There soft solicitudes sweet fears | I |
And doubts accumulate and tears | J |

While the pure purpose of the soul | K |
To form of many parts a whole | K |
To make them strong and hold them true | L |
From end to end is carried through | L |

Then when the waters war between | M |
Upon the masonry unseen | M |
Secure and swift from shore to shore | B |
With silent footfall travelling o'er | C |

Hither and thither to and fro | N |
Pass and repass now linger near | O |
Now part anew to reappear | O |
