The Stars Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDEEDE

THE terrible tranquillity of spaceA
My soul shrinks back in sudden doubt I fearB
The myriad eyes that through the ether peerB
And chill the arrogance that dared to traceA
The grave enigma of the cosmic faceA
Yet through the soundless night a voice austereB
We that you deem afar are small and nearB
With lowly things and humble we have placeA
We are but smoke that from a burnt Past rearsC
The idle spray God's prow flings in its sweepD
Through wider waters the mere dust that curlsE
From his vast chariot wheels as on He whirlsE
The futile sparks that from His anvil leapD
Or drifting seeds pregnant of larger spheresE
