Grey Eyes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACBDEBEFBFGBGABAHB H

SHE glanced across the path to meA
Grey eyesB
Her looks were kisses plain to seeA
I gave her glances back to herC
Glad eyesB
She saw the lifting of despairD
From memory a face looked outE
Dim eyesB
No years could sour that love to doubtE
My soul would nevermore be loneF
Bride's eyesB
Hearts still were waiting for my ownF
Our souls uncurtained then perchanceG
Deep eyesB
Each built an epoch in a glanceG
Out of her fellowship so freeA
Light eyesB
She gave some gladness unto meA
And I gave As we turned apartH
Dead eyesB
I saw the shudder in her heartH
