Reality Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCAADEDEA

I stand at noon upon the heated flagsA
At the bleached crossing of two streets and dreamB
With brain scarce conscious now the hurrying streamB
Of noonday passengers is done Two hagsA
Stand at an open doorway piled with bagsA
And jabber hideously Just at their feetC
A small half naked child screams in the streetC
A blind man yonder a mere hunch of ragsA
Keeps the scant shadow of the eaves and scowlsA
Counting his coppers Through the open glareD
Thunders an empty wagon from whose trailE
A lean dog shoots into the startled squareD
Wildly revolves and soothes his hapless tailE
Piercing the noon with intermittent howlsA
