Personality Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOOPO differing human heart | A |
Why is it that I tremble when thine eyes | B |
Thy human eyes and beautiful human speech | C |
Draw me and stir within my soul | D |
That subtle ineradicable longing | E |
For tender comradeship | F |
It is because I cannot all at once | G |
Through the half lights and phantom haunted mists | H |
That separate and enshroud us life from life | I |
Discern the nearness or the strangeness of thy paths | J |
Nor plumb thy depths | K |
I am like one that comes alone at night | L |
To a strange stream and by an unknown ford | M |
Stands and for a moment yearns and shrinks | N |
Being ignorant of the water though so quiet it is | O |
So softly murmurous | O |
So silvered by the familiar moon | P |
