Midsummer Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACBA AAADDA

Mother of balms and soothings manifoldA
Quiet breathed night whose brooding hours are sevenB
To whom the voices of all rest are givenB
And those few stars whose scattered names are toldA
Far off beyond the westward hills outrolledA
Darker than thou more still more dreamy evenC
The golden moon leans in the dusky heavenB
And under the one star a point of goldA
-
And all go slowly lingering toward the westA
As we go down forgetfully to our restA
Weary of daytime tired of noise and lightA
Ah it was time that thou should'st come for weD
Were sore athirst and had great need of theeD
Thou sweet physician balmy blossomed nightA
