March Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAADDA EEFGGF

Over the dripping roofs and sunk snow barrowsA
The bells are ringing loud and strangely nearB
The shout of children dins upon mine earC
Shrilly and like a flight of silvery arrowsA
Showers the sweet gossip of the British sparrowsA
Gathered in noisy knots of one or twoD
To joke and chatter just as mortals doD
Over the days long tale of joys and sorrowsA
-
Talk before bed time of bold deeds togetherE
Of thefts and fights of hard times and the weatherE
Till sleep disarm them to each little brainF
Bringing tucked wings and many a blissful dreamG
Visions of wind and sun of field and streamG
And busy barn yards with their scattered grainF
