In November Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCA DEFFED

The hills and leafless forests slowly yieldA
To the thick driving snow A little whileB
And night shall darken down In shouting fileB
The woodmen's carts go by me homeward wheeledA
Past the thin fading stubbles half concealedA
Now golden grey sowed softly through with snowC
Where the last ploughman follows still his rowC
Turning black furrows through the whitening fieldA
-
Far off the village lamps begin to gleamD
Fast drives the snow and no man comes this wayE
The hills grow wintry white and bleak winds moanF
About the naked uplands I aloneF
Am neither sad nor shelterless nor greyE
Wrapped round with thought content to watch and dreamD
