In November (2) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFGHIJKKLLMM NN HHOKKOKACCPPMMHG QQRRKKCCNNSSTTJJ

With loitering step and quiet eyeA
Beneath the low November skyA
I wandered in the woods and foundB
A clearing where the broken groundB
Was scattered with black stumps and briersC
And the old wreck of forest firesC
It was a bleak and sandy spotD
And all about the vacant plotD
Was peopled and inhabitedE
By scores of mulleins long since deadF
A silent and forsaken broodG
In that mute opening of the woodH
So shrivelled and so thin they wereI
So gray so haggard and austereJ
Not plants at all they seemed to meK
But rather some spare companyK
Of hermit folk who long agoL
Wandering in bodies to and froL
Had chanced upon this lonely wayM
And rested thus till death one dayM
Surprised them at their compline prayerN
And left them standing lifeless thereN
-
There was no sound about the woodH
Save the wind's secret stir I stoodH
Among the mullein stalks as stillO
As if myself had grown to beK
One of their sombre companyK
A body without wish or willO
And as I stood quite suddenlyK
Down from a furrow in the skyA
The sun shone out a little spaceC
Across that silent sober placeC
Over the sand heaps and brown sodP
The mulleins and dead goldenrodP
And passed beyond the thickets grayM
And lit the fallen leaves that layM
Level and deep within the woodH
A rustling yellow multitudeG
-
And all around me the thin lightQ
So sere so melancholy brightQ
Fell like the half reflected gleamR
Or shadow of some former dreamR
A moment's golden reverieK
Poured out on every plant and treeK
A semblance of weird joy or lessC
A sort of spectral happinessC
And I too standing idly thereN
With muffled hands in the chill airN
Felt the warm glow about my feetS
And shuddering betwixt cold and heatS
Drew my thoughts closer like a cloakT
While something in my blood awokeT
A nameless and unnatural cheerJ
A pleasure secret and austereJ
