In November (1) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEFFED| The leafless forests slowly yield | A |
| To the thick driving snow A little while | B |
| And night shall darken down In shouting file | B |
| The woodmen's carts go by me homeward wheeled | A |
| Past the thin fading stubbles half concealed | A |
| Now golden gray sowed softly through with snow | C |
| Where the last ploughman follows still his row | C |
| Turning black furrows through the whitening field | A |
| Far off the village lamps begin to gleam | D |
| Fast drives the snow and no man comes this way | E |
| The hills grow wintry white and bleak winds moan | F |
| About the naked uplands I alone | F |
| Am neither sad nor shelterless nor gray | E |
| Wrapped round with thought content to watch and dream | D |
