In March Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCBCB DEDEFG

The sun falls warm the southern winds awakeA
The air seethes upwards with a steamy shiverB
Each dip of the road is now a crystal lakeA
And every rut a little dancing riverB
Through great soft clouds that sunder overheadC
The deep sky breaks as pearly blue as summerB
Out of a cleft beside the river's bedC
Flaps the black crow the first demure newcomerB
-
The last seared drifts are eating fast awayD
With glassy tinkle into glittering lacesE
Dogs lie asleep and little children playD
With tops and marbles in the sun bare placesE
And I that stroll with many a thoughtful pauseF
Almost forget that winter ever wasG
