O'er the drift of the river a whiff | F |
Comes out from the blossoming shore | G |
And the meadows are greening as if | F |

And russet and emerald dye | I |
And the interval waters outrolled | H |
Are more blue than the sky | I |
From my feet to the heart of the hills | J |
The spirits of May intervene | K |
And a vapor of azure distills | J |
Like a breath on the opaline green | K |

Only a moment and then | L |
The chill and the shadow decline | M |
On the eyes of rejuvenate men | L |
