A January Morning Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAADDAEFFEGG

The glittering roofs are still with frost each wornA
Black chimney builds into the quiet skyB
Its curling pile to crumble silentlyC
Far out to westward on the edge of mornA
The slender misty city towers up borneA
Glimmer faint rose against the pallid blueD
And yonder on those northern hills the hueD
Of amethyst hang fleeces dull as hornA
And here behind me come the woodmen's sleighsE
With shouts and clamorous squeakings might and mainF
Up the steep slope the horses stamp and strainF
Urged on by hoarse tongued drivers cheeks ablazeE
Iced beards and frozen eyelids team by teamG
With frost fringed flanks and nostrils jetting steamG
