In Snow-time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFAA GHGHIJKJFLFLMM

How should I chose to walk the world with theeA
Mine own beloved When green grass is stirredB
By summer breezes and each leafy treeA
Shelters the nest of many a singing birdB
In time of roses when the earth doth lieC
Dressed in a garment of midsummer huesD
Beneath a canopy of sapphire skyC
Lulled by a soft wind's song Or should I chooseD
To walk with thee along a wintry roadE
Through flowerless fields thick sown with frosty rimeF
Beside an ice bound stream whose waters flowedE
In voiceless music all the summer timeF
In winter dreariness or summer gleeA
How should I choose to walk the world with theeA
-
The time of roses is the time of loveG
Ah my dear heart but winter fires are brightH
And in the lack of sunshine from aboveG
We tend more carefully love's sacred lightH
The path among the roses lieth softI
Sun kissed and radiant under youthful feetJ
But on a wintry way true hands more oftK
Do meet and cling in pressure close and sweetJ
There is more need of love's supporting armF
Along life's slippery pathway in its frostL
There is more need for love to wrap us warmF
Against life's cold when summer flowers are lostL
Let others share thy life's glad summer glowM
But let me walk beside thee in its snowM
