The Appology Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDBBEEFFGGHHIIGG

'Tis true I write and tell me by what RuleA
I am alone forbid to play the foolA
To follow through the Groves a wand'ring MuseB
And fain'd Idea's for my pleasures chuseB
Why shou'd it in my Pen be held a faultC
Whilst Mira paints her face to paint a thoughtD
Whilst Lamia to the manly Bumper flysB
And borrow'd Spiritts sparkle in her EyesB
Why shou'd itt be in me a thing so vainE
To heat with Poetry my colder BrainE
But I write ill and there fore shou'd forbearF
Does Flavia cease now at her fortieth yearF
In ev'ry Place to lett that face be seenG
Which all the Town rejected at fifteenG
Each Woman has her weaknesse mind sic indeedH
Is still to write tho' hopelesse to succeedH
Nor to the Men is this so easy foundI
Ev'n in most Works with which the Witts aboundI
So weak are all since our first breach with Heav'nG
Ther's lesse to be Applauded than forgivenG
