Retirement Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHBH

O let me be alone a whileA
No human form is nighB
And may I sing and muse aloudC
No mortal ear is byB
Away ye dreams of earthly blissD
Ye earthly cares begoneE
Depart ye restless wandering thoughtsF
And let me be aloneE
-
One hour my spirit stretch thy wingsG
And quit this joyless sodH
Bask in the sunshine of the skyB
And be alone with GodH
