Wind Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EEFFCCDD AAGGCCDD

He shouts in the sails of the ships at seaA
He steals the down from the honeybeeA
He makes the forest trees rustle and singB
He twirls my kite till it breaks its stringB
Laughing dancing sunny windC
Whistling howling rainy windC
North South East and WestD
Each is the wind I like the bestD
-
He calls up the fog and hides the hillsE
He whirls the wings of the great windmillsE
The weathercocks love him and turn to discoverF
His whereabouts but he's gone the roverF
Laughing dancing sunny windC
Whistling howling rainy windC
North South East and WestD
Each is the wind I like the bestD
-
The pine trees toss him their cones with gleeA
The flowers bend low in courtesyA
Each wave flings up a shower of pearlsG
The flag in front of the school unfurlsG
Laughing dancing sunny windC
Whistling howling rainy windC
North South East and WestD
Each is the wind I like the bestD
