Large stars with polychrome needles | B |
Small stars jetting maroon and crimson | C |
Cool quiet green stars | A |
I will tear them out of the sky | D |
And squeeze them over an old silver cup | E |
And I will pour the cold scorn of my Beloved into it | F |
So that my drink shall be bubbled with ice | G |

It will lap and scratch | H |
As I swallow it down | I |

His snortings will rise to my head | L |
And I shall be hot and laugh | M |
Forgetting that I have ever known a woman | C |
