The Green Bowl Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLIMCI| This little bowl is like a mossy pool | A |
| In a Spring wood where dogtooth violets grow | B |
| Nodding in chequered sunshine of the trees | C |
| A quiet place still with the sound of birds | D |
| Where though unseen is heard the endless song | E |
| And murmur of the never resting sea | F |
| 'T was winter Roger when you made this cup | G |
| But coming Spring guided your eager hand | H |
| And round the edge you fashioned young green leaves | I |
| A proper chalice made to hold the shy | J |
| And little flowers of the woods And here | K |
| They will forget their sad uprooting lost | L |
| In pleasure that this circle of bright leaves | I |
| Should be their setting once more they will dream | M |
| They hear winds wandering through lofty trees | C |
| And see the sun smiling between the leaves | I |
