The Country House Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDBE FGHI I

Did the door move or was it always ajarA
The gladioli on the table are pale mauveB
I smell pale mauve and blueC
Blue soft like bruises putrid oozingD
The air oozes blue mauveB
And the door with the black line where it does not shutE
-
I must pass that door to go to bedF
Or I must stay hereG
And watch the crackH
Oozing airI
-
Is it airI
