Pickthorn Manor: 14 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDCCE

He looked so rueful that she laughed out loudA
You are forgiven Mr Deane Even moreB
I offer you the fishing and am proudA
That you should find it pleasant from this shoreB
Nobody fishes now my husband usedC
To angle daily and I too with himD
He loved the spotted trout and pike and daceE
He even had a whimD
That flies my fingers tied swiftly confusedC
The greater fish And he must be excusedC
Love weaves odd fancies in a lonely placeE
