Pickthorn Manor: 01 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDCCF

How fresh the Dartle's little waves that dayA
A steely silver underlined with blueB
And flashing where the round clouds blown awayA
Let drop the yellow sunshine to gleam throughB
And tip the edges of the waves with shiftsC
And spots of whitest fire hard like gemsD
Cut from the midnight moon they were and sharpE
As wind through leafless stemsD
The Lady Eunice walked between the driftsC
Of blooming cherry trees and watched the riftsC
Of clouds drawn through the river's azure warpF
