November Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJ

The vine leaves against the brick walls of my houseA
Are rusty and brokenB
Dead leaves gather under the pine treesC
The brittle boughs of lilac bushesD
Sweep against the starsE
And I sit under a lampF
Trying to write down the emptiness of my heartG
Even the cat will not stay with meH
But prefers the rainI
Under the meagre shelter of a cellar windowJ
