With the little flute notes all about me | G |

The neighbour eats bread and onions with one hand | J |
And copies music with the other | D |
He is fat and has a bald head | K |
So I do not look at him | B |
But run quickly past his window | L |
There is always the sky to look at | M |
Or the water in the well | N |

I think of him as a young man | O |
With gold seals hanging from his watch | P |
And a blue coat with silver buttons | Q |
As I lie in my bed | K |
The flute notes push against my ears and lips | R |
And I go to sleep dreaming | S |
