Hora Stellatrix Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBB CCDDD EEFFF

The stars hang thick in the apple treeA
The south wind smells of the pungent seaA
Gold tulip cups are heavy with dewB
The night's for you Sweetheart for youB
Starfire rains from the vaulted blueB
-
Listen The dancing of unseen leavesC
A drowsy swallow stirs in the eavesC
Only a maiden is sorrowingD
'T is night and spring Sweetheart and springD
Starfire lights your heart's blossomingD
-
In the intimate dark there's never an earE
Though the tulips stand on tiptoe to hearE
So give ripe fruit must shrivel or fallF
As you are mine Sweetheart give allF
Starfire sparkles your coronalF
