Crepuscule Du Matin Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCBBADBDEBE

All night I wrestled with a memoryA
Which knocked insurgent at the gates of thoughtB
The crumbled wreck of years behind has wroughtB
Its disillusion now I only cryC
For peace for power to forget the lieC
Which hope too long has whispered So I soughtB
The sleep which would not come and night was fraughtB
With old emotions weeping silentlyA
I heard your voice again and knew the thingsD
Which you had promised proved an empty vauntB
I felt your clinging hands while night's broad wingsD
Cherished our love in darkness From the lawnE
A sudden quivering birdnote like a tauntB
My arms held nothing but the empty dawnE
