| Which call to her to answer their swift might | A |
| Above the tossing trees shines down a star | D |
| Quietly bright this wild tumultuous joy | E |
| Quickens nor dims its splendour And my mind | F |
| O Star is filled with your white light from far | D |
| So suffer me this one night to enjoy | E |
| The freedom of the onward sweeping wind | F |
