Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEFGG HHIIJJ KKLLMM JJMMMM

Be not angry with me that I bearA
Your colours everywhereA
All through each crowded streetB
And meetB
The wonder light in every eyeC
As I go byC
-
Each plodding wayfarer looks up to gazeD
Blinded by rainbow hazeD
The stuff of happinessE
No lessF
Which wraps me in its glad hued foldsG
Of peacock goldsG
-
Before my feet the dusty rough paved wayH
Flushes beneath its grayH
My steps fall ringed with lightI
So brightI
It seems a myriad suns are strownJ
About the townJ
-
Around me is the sound of steepled bellsK
And rich perfum eacute d smellsK
Hang like a wind forgotten cloudL
And shroudL
Me from close contact with the worldM
I dwell impearledM
-
You blazon me with jewelled insigniaJ
A flaming nebulaJ
Rims in my life And yetM
You setM
The word upon me unconfessedM
To go unguessedM
