Absence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEFGHI FJKLM

My cup is empty to nightA
Cold and dry are its sidesB
Chilled by the wind from the open windowC
Empty and void it sparkles white in the moonlightA
The room is filled with the strange scentD
Of wistaria blossomsE
They sway in the moon's radianceF
And tap against the wallG
But the cup of my heart is stillH
And cold and emptyI
-
When you come it brimsF
Red and trembling with bloodJ
Heart's blood for your drinkingK
To fill your mouth with loveL
And the bitter sweet taste of a soulM
