Epitaph. (on A Commonplace Person Who Died In Bed) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFGGHHAA

THIS is the end of him here he liesA
The dust in his throat the worm in his eyesA
The mould in his mouth the turf on his breastB
This is the end of him this is bestB
He will never lie on his couch awakeC
Wide eyed tearless till dim daybreakC
Never again will he smile and smileD
When his heart is breaking all the whileD
He will never stretch out his hands in vainE
Groping and groping never againF
Never ask for bread get a stone insteadG
Never pretend that the stone is breadG
Never sway and sway 'twixt the false and trueH
Weighing and noting the long hours throughH
Never ache and ache with chok'd up sighsA
This is the end of him here he liesA
