Borderland Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABABACDCDEFFE

Am I waking am I sleepingA
As the first faint dawn comes creepingA
Thro' the pane I am awareB
Of an unseen presence hoveringA
Round above in the dusky airB
A downy bird with an odorous wingA
That fans my forehead and sheds perfumeC
As sweet as love as soft as deathD
Drowsy slow through the summer gloomC
My heart in some dream rapture saithD
It is she Half in a swoonE
I spread my arms in slow delightF
O prolong prolong the nightF
For the nights are short in JuneE
