Between The Showers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB BAB ABAB

Between the showers I went my wayA
The glistening street was bright with flowersB
It seemed that March had turned to MayA
Between the showersB
-
Above the shining roofs and towersB
The blue broke forth athwart the greyA
Birds carolled in their leafless bowersB
-
Hither and tither swift and gayA
The people chased the changeful hoursB
And you you passed and smiled that dayA
Between the showersB
