Roses Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH HGIF CBFBC

Of all the flowers that I knowA
I wonder why I love roses moreB
How can one adore anything like roseC
That bears thorns besides that adornD
-
Oh can't grasp it for too longE
Evokes the pleasant memories I holdF
Of people who were like roses I adoredG
Oblivious to the imminent threats of thornsH
-
The impending threats of those disguised scornsH
Oh all the affection that I pouredG
Their thorns turning it into loatheI
Pricking everyone who tries to holdF
-
Portraying their existence as a roseC
I don't know whether to loathe them or adoreB
Better to abandon all the feelings that I holdF
Of all the people I hold feelings forB
I wonder why their existence reminds me of roseC
