Roses

Of all the flowers that I know,
I wonder why I love roses more?
How can one adore anything like rose,
That bears thorns besides that adorn?

Oh, can't grasp it for too long.
Evokes the pleasant memories, I hold
Of people who were like roses, I adored
Oblivious to the imminent threats of thorns

The impending threats of those disguised scorns
Oh, all the affection that I poured
Their thorns turning it into loathe
Pricking everyone who tries to hold.

Portraying their existence as a rose,
I don't know whether to loathe them or adore
Better to abandon all the feelings that I hold.
Of all the people I hold feelings for,
I wonder why their existence reminds me of rose?
