Journey Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DBEB FGHG IJK LMLM NONP BBN

Been quite long following othersA
Wasn't brave to tread the path aloneB
When discovered the strength innerC
Set out on the path of thorns and stoneB
-
Stepped out of the cocoon it was coldD
Woven by threats and fears unknownB
Feeble my legs are its a wobbly startE
But sure enough to conquer on ownB
-
Thorns and stones test the strengthF
The path dark and lonely seems never to endG
Hurdles are forces propelling the journeyH
Bruises and burns hmm none to tendG
-
Days and nights months years and yearsI
Still walking still bearing the joy eludesJ
What resides is pain anger unremitting tears traveled miles thousands more to concludeK
-
Savoured the wine and scrumptious dineL
Still thirsty still hungry the flavour vaporizeM
Growled howled yet no 'manna' signL
Conquered a lot a lot more before demiseM
-
Preachers teachers and wisdom supremeN
Still insane still lame the truth evadesO
Read heard and followed their themeN
Sailed rivers ahh the sea awaitsP
-
Pain perished Threats thwarted fears flownB
Still struggling still gasping the destiny unknownB
Miles crossed miles to go can't fathom whether Cocoon was safe or serfdomN
