Stephen Dorsey Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDAAAA

Fly heedless stranger from this spot accurstA
Where rests in Satan an offender firstA
In point of greatness as in point of timeB
Of new school rascals who proclaim their crimeB
Skilled with a frank loquacity to blabC
The dark arcana of each mighty grabC
And famed for lying from his early youthD
He sinned secure behind a veil of truthD
Some lock their lips upon their deeds some writeA
A damning record and conceal from sightA
Some with a lust of speaking die to quell itA
His way to keep a secret was to tell itA
