Nimrod Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEE

There were brave men some one has truly saidA
Before Atrides those were mostly deadA
Behind him and ere you could e'er occurB
Actaeon lived Nimrod and Bahram GurB
In strength and speed and daring they excelledC
The stag they overtook the lion felledC
Ah yes great hunters flourished before youD
And for Munchausen lived great talkers tooD
There'll be no more there's much to kill but wellE
You have left nothing in the world to tellE
