For Mayor Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAACDACD

O Abner Doble whose 'catarrhal name'A
Budd of that ilk might envy 'tis a roughB
Rude thing to say but it is plain enoughB
Your name is to be sneezed at its acclaimA
Will 'fill the speaking trump of future fame'A
With an impeded utterance a puffB
Suggesting that a pinch or two of snuffB
Would clear the tube and somewhat disinflameA
Nay Abner Doble you'll not get from meA
My voice and influence I'll cheer insteadC
Some other man for when my voice ascends aD
Tall pinnacle of praise and at high CA
Sustains a chosen name it shan't be saidC
My influence is naught but influenzaD
