Couplets Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGFFHHIJ KKLLMMAANN

I am for Cutting I'm a bladeA
Designed for use at dress paradeA
My gleaming length when I displayB
Peace rules the land with gentle swayB
But when the war dogs bare their teethC
Go seek me in the modest sheathC
I am for Cutting Not for meD
The task of setting nations freeD
Let soulless blades take human lifeE
My softer metal shuns the strifeE
The annual review is mineF
When gorgeous shopmen sweat and shineF
And Biddy tip toe on the paveG
Adores the cobble trotting braveG
I am for Cutting 'Tis not mineF
To hew amain the hostile lineF
Not mine all pitiless to spreadH
The plain with tumuli of deadH
My grander duty lies afarI
From haunts of the insane hussarJ
Where charging horse and struggling footK
Are grimed alike with cannon sootK
When Loveliness and Valor meetL
Beneath the trees to dance and eatL
And sing and much beside beholdM
My golden glories all unfoldM
There formidably are displayedA
The useful horrors of my bladeA
In time of feast and dance and balladN
I am for cutting chicken saladN
