One day Intellect said to the heartA
'A guide to the misguided ones I amB
-
Being on the earth I reach up to the skyC
Look how deep in comprehension I amB
-
Guidance on earth is my sole occupationD
Like the auspicious Khidr in character I amB
-
Interpreter of the book of life I amB
The Manifestation of God's Glory I amB
-
You are only a dropp of blood butE
The invaluable ruby's envy I am'B
-
Hearing this the heart said 'All this is trueF
But look at me as well what I amB
-
You understand the secrets of lifeG
But seeing them with my own eyes I amB
-
Concerned with the manifest order you areH
And acquainted with the inward I amB
-
Learning is from you but Divine Knowledge is from meB
You only seek Divinity but showing Divinity I amB
-
Restlessness is the end of KnowledgeI
But the remedy for that malady I amB
-
You are the candle of the assembly of TruthJ
The lamp of the Divine Beauty's assemblage I amB
-
You are related to time and spaceK
The bird recognizing the Sidrah I amB
-
Look at the grandeur of my stationD
The throne of the God of Majesty I amB
