One Of Twain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB BAB ABAB CDCD DCD CDCD

One of twain twin born with flowers that wakenA
Now hath passed from sense of sun and rainB
Wind from off the flower crowned branch hath shakenA
One of twainB
-
One twin flower must pass and one remainB
One the word said soothly shall be takenA
And another left can death refrainB
-
Two years since was love's light song mistakenA
Blessing then both blossoms half in vainB
Night outspeeding light hath overtakenA
One of twainB
-
-
Night and light O thou of heart unwaryC
Love what knowest thou here at all arightD
Lured abused misled as men by fairyC
Night and lightD
-
Haply where thine eyes behold but nightD
Soft as o'er her babe the smile of MaryC
Light breaks flowerwise into new born sightD
-
What though night of light to thee be charyC
What though stars of hope like flowers take flightD
Seest thou all things here where all see varyC
Night and lightD
