Est ce qu'il n'est pas temps que la foudre se prouveA
Cieux profonds en broyant ce chien fils de la louveA

By the dead body of Hope the spotless lambC
Thou threwest into the high priest's slaughtering roomD
And by the child Despair born red therefromD
As thank the secret sire picked out to cramD
With spurious spawn thy misconceiving damD
Thou like a worm from a town's common tombD
Didst creep from forth the kennel of her wombD
Born to break down with catapult and ramD
Man's builded towers of promise and with breathE
And tongue to track and hunt his hopes to deathE
O by that sweet dead body abused and slainF
And by that child mismothered dog by allG
Thy curses thou hast cursed mankind withalG
With what curse shall man curse thee back againH
-
-
-
-
By the brute soul that made man's soul its foodB
By time grown poisonous with it by the hateB
And horror of all souls not miscreateB
By the hour of power that evil hath on goodB
And by the incognizable fatherhoodB
Which made a whorish womb the shameful gateB
That opening let out loose to fawn on fateB
A hound half blooded ravening for man's bloodB
What prayer but this for thee should any sayI
Thou dog of hell but this that Shakespeare saidB
By night deflowered and desecrated dayI
That fall as one curse on one cursed headB
Cancel his bond of life dear God I prayI
That I may live to say The dog is deadB
