The Roses On The Terrace Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCBDB

Rose on this terrace fifty years agoA
When I was in my June you in your MayB
Two words 'My Rose ' set all your face aglowA
And now that I am white and you are grayB
That blush of fifty years ago my dearC
Blooms in the past but close to me to dayB
As this red rose which on our terrace hereD
Glows in the blue of fifty miles awayB
