Any Poet At Any Time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEFEGHGHII

Time thou supreme inexorable JudgeA
Whom none can bribe and none can overaweB
Who unto party rancour private grudgeA
Calmly opposeth equitable lawC
Before whom advocacy vainly strivesD
To make the better cause to seem the worseE
To thy Tribunal when our jangling livesF
Are husht I leave the verdict on my verseE
Irrevocably then wilt thou proclaimG
What should have been what now must ever beH
If in oblivion perish should my nameG
Or shine aloft in mighty companyH
I to my kind proffering of my poor bestI
Remit to Time's arbitrament the restI
