An Autumn-blooming Rose Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB BBBB CBCB DEDE

I found and plucked an autumn blooming roseA
And shut my eyes and scented all its savourB
When lo as in the month the blackthorn blowsA
Lambs 'gan to bleat and merle and lark to quaverB
-
Flower of my life inestimably dearB
Now that its calendar wanes sere and soberB
To me your freshness turning back the yearB
Makes that seem April others call OctoberB
-
With me 'tis Autumn and with you 'tis SpringC
But Love hath brought these seasons sweet togetherB
Within your leafy life I sit and singC
And you with me share wealth of harvest weatherB
-
Thus all things we exchange and nothing loseD
Take you life's wisdom lend to me life's sweetnessE
Your vernal voice shall wed my mellow museD
And song give youth and youth give song completenessE
